What happens when you introduce students to local business owners? Really, really good things. Relationships are made, future plans are inspired, and community is formed. But in many places, students and business leaders never meet.
Local leaders recognized this as a huge problem, so they have begun to work together to develop creative solutions. Enter Elkhart County Manufacturing Day. The annual event –– a collaboration between Horizon Education Alliance, Economic Development Corporation of Elkhart County, and local schools –– gives students an inside look at the fun and fascinating careers available right here in Elkhart County, Indiana.
Manufacturing Day leaves students inspired and business owners hopeful –– and on top of that, it’s just really fun.
